Our Region is made up of 14 ARMA chapters, representing the Eastern United States from as far North as Pennsylvania and as far South as South Carolina. Each of these chapters has a unique membership and set of annual events that are designed by the local membership in each chapter. Columbia Chapter, SC: Welcome to the Columbia, South Carolina chapter of ARMA International. A not-for-profit association composed of records and information professionals organized to provide education, networking and fellowship opportunities to its members and the community. The Columbia ARMA chapter meets on the third Tuesday of each month from September to June. Please visit our "meetings" link to view our meeting schedule and for registration information. Greenville Chapter, SC : The Greenville Area Chapter is comprised of members from several upstate South Carolina counties. They also have members from the Asheville, North Carolina area, since the chapter is very close to them. Although they are a small chapter, they have dedicated members, many of whom have been involved with the chapter since it was established. Chapter meetings are mostly held during lunchtime; although on occasions they schedule 1-2 for Breakfast times. Meetings are held at 2-3 different locations in the upstate area in order to offer a variety of choices for the menu and scenery.
South Carolina Coastal Chapter, SC: of ARMA includes the greater Charleston area and outlying areas such as Summerville, Moncks Corner, Hilton Head Island and Myrtle Beach. Our monthly meetings are held in various areas to encourage member attendance. We offer "lunch and learn" meetings with guest speakers and provide a network of experienced record managers. Membership is not a requirement to attend our "lunch and learn" meetings. We also participate in an Annual Joint Chapter Seminar with the other South Carolina Chapters and provide at least one Community Shred Event each year. Charlotte Piedmont Chapter, NC:
Triangle Chapter, NC: The Triangle Chapter is anchored by the cities of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, The Research Triangle Park, home to numerous high-tech companies and enterprises and three prestigious research universities, Duke University, North Carolina State University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Triangle chapter holds lunch meetings at the elegant private business and social club, The Cardinal Club, in downtown Raleigh. They host regular Social Networking gatherings throughout the year and serve the surrounding community with regularly scheduled philanthropic events. Northern Virginia/Fairfax (NOVA): The Northern Virginia Chapter serves the RIM professionals who live or work in the area bounded by the Appalachian Mountains and the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers, where history is neighbor to the future. Monthly dinner program meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month, September through June, at the Marco Polo Restaurant in Vienna, VA at 6:00 PM and are preceded by a Board meeting at 4:30 PM. Richmond Chapter, VA: The Richmond, Virginia ARMA Chapter is made up of members of the Central Virginia area. We meet once a month usually in the evenings on the third Wednesday of the month. The Richmond ARMA Chapter schedules tours and provides interesting topics and speakers at our meetings for our members to learn and enjoy. We are a very friendly and diverse group of records and information professionals and encourage you to come and join us.
Tidewater Chapter, VA: The membership of the Tidewater ARMA Chapter spans the localities of Norfolk, Hampton, Newport News, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Gloucester, Yorktown, Suffolk, Williamsburg and the Eastern Shore. Greater Washington DC: The Greater Washington, DC chapter (GWDC ARMA) is located in our nation's capital in the most powerful city in the world! They are surrounded by the beauty of our national monuments, national historical sites and, of course, our three branches of government - the Congress, the Executive Branch and the Supreme Court. Their monthly meetings are held at local downtown law firms and are usually conveniently scheduled during lunchtime hours on the third Wednesday of each month. The GWDC ARMA Chapter was incorporated in July, 1975.
Metropolitan Maryland: The Metropolitan Maryland ARMA Chapter is a diverse and friendly group of records and information professionals dedicated to providing educational and networking opportunities. They meet once a month in the evening after work for networking, dinner, and a presentation to enhance their knowledge and to keep informed of state-of-the-art developments in the field of RIM. Greater Baltimore Chapter, MD:
Diamond State, DE: The Diamond State Chapter of ARMA, located in Wilmington, Delaware, is a division of the ARMA Mid-Atlantic Region of ARMA International. Our chapter was founded in 1982 to meet the needs of the increasing number of records and information management professionals in Delaware. Diamond State Chapter members meet monthly to network and interact with others in the field. These monthly breakfast meetings feature presentations from a variety of speakers on a wide range of Records and Information Management (RIM) topics and issues facing today's information professional.
Liberty Bell Chapter, PA: The Liberty Bell chapter of ARMA International is located in Philadelphia, PA. The Liberty Bell chapter is a division of the Mid-Atlantic Region of ARMA International. ARMA International is a not-for-profit association and the leader in education and training for records and information management professionals.
Pittsburgh Chapter, PA: ARMA Pittsburgh Chapter is a member of ARMA International, and more specifically, ARMA’s Mid-Atlantic Region. Our chapter consists of Records and Information Management professionals from a wealth of industries (including financial, legal, and pharmaceutical) who are committed to the advancement of our industry through education, including support of the ARMA International Education Foundation. Our chapter sponsors monthly educational programs which cover a wide variety of topics that are applicable to most of us in the RIM field. Program meetings are held once a month, from September through June, in One Oxford Centre, Fourth Avenue and Grant Street in Downtown Pittsburgh.
